Default Cayo Costa State Park

My friends and I are going to Cayo Costa for spring break this year to do some fishing and camping. This will be my first time fly fishing in the salt. I was wondering what will be near shore the the first week of March. Also what are some good patterns to use for that time of year.

Thanks
Travis

Two possible sources of info might be Steve Gibson (http://gibbysfishingblog.blogspot.com)
a very helpful flyfishing guide from Tampa area or google The Baitbox . They are on Sanibel Island, extremely helpful also, and should know about that area of Pine Island Sound, if not they may put you onto someone who does.

I've seen some horrendous pic's of dead fish off the Bokeela area from the fish kills. I'm not sure how bad or what species have been hurt!
