Atta girl, Rachel! Glad to see you're keeping that streak alive. (Had me worried there.)

Thanks Charlie. We got out last weekend and thought I had a pretty good shot. Trout we rising...beautiful day....and then Alabama Power decided to turn the water BACK on. They weren't supposed to generate again til 6 and it was 12:42.
Maybe March will be easier for everybody. C'mon spring! |

I failed! My new year reservation was to make it with X's all year on the Fish of the Month board. I only made it out once and got skunked. Good job to the rest of you.

![]() Well, I made it. Late again I might add. Sorry about the fleece gloves. Caney Fork, Feb 28, down from the steps at the dam access point, 2 fly rig...midge and smaller midge. There were some tiny midges coming off..smaller than the smallest I had. I dropped a 22 biot midge off of a 18 zebra and I was able to hook up with 4 nice rainbows. |

Nice fish. Looks like he has been finding lots to eat during all the generation. Silvercreek

Thanks, all of them were nice chunks of about the same size. I don't know what the count numbers in the stream are like, but the ones I've caught this winter seemed to be eating well and healthy...they're probably getting a lot of exercise from the a) generation, and b) trying to outrun the stripers and otters!
