I think I'm going to call it a day and run home to get my fishing stuff and head out also. Not sure where I'm headed, but it'll be somewhere in the park.

Buzz, that was you I stopped and harassed on Litlle River wasn't it? I hope you did better than I did.

Haha. If only the park allowed treble hooks. I saw a tv show where a guy was fishing for spoonbill, and they actually do just throw a treble hook and yank it acroos the stream until they snag one and pull it in.

True. I have only been flyfishing since June, and every time I get a little cocky when I have been catching stocked trout I take a trip to LR to get myself knocked back down a peg or two to where I should be.

Don't worry.. the trail heading down the peg board is well marked by many of us... I fish for Steelhead up in the Great Lakes, and trout on PA spring creeks. I know more about getting your butt handed to you by them "dumb" fish. Like any prize fighter, it is how you come up off the canvas that counts. One lesson learned, the most important cast of the day is the next one. |

It was. I'm getting ready to write up a report now. If you ever catch me out there alone, feel free to rig up and join me. I always enjoy the company.

I will do that. Same to you if you ever see me out. Be a red Dodge Ram with a messed up back bumper. Looks like you wound up catching some nice fish.
