Default Man what a pain.

It is sitting here trying to sort through almost 200 flies, and trying to figure out what each one of them is. Then writing in your fly cases what they are and putting each in its' proper spot like you want. I think I have to many flies. Got my poor old eyes worn out staring at all these tiny flies.

You mean that you are writing the names of the flies in your fly boxes. Never seen that before, must be quite a task.

I make name tags for some Plano boxes that I store my primary flies in when I tie them in bulk. When I get low on something, it is easier for me to sit down and tie two dozen and put them in that box for inventory.

Not a problem for me- I lose a bushel of flies every year. My fly collection never builds up. I have one pocket size fly box, and I can not keep it full .
Why don't they put big eyes on tiny hooks?
Gone fishing.

Outdoor Life magazine had an article that basically said that you could fish anywhere in the US with just 12 flies- Adams, Wooly Bugger, Prince Nymph, Pheasant Tail were some of them. Wish I had kept the article or at least copied it.
rivergal, I think Orvis has hooks with oversized eyes.
