Bugs everywhere!!!
I made it up to the park yesterday to fish the hatches. I was on the water by 12:30 or 1:00 which was when the bugs have been starting from what I have heard. First pool yielded 6 or 7 fish and the rest of the day continued the same. Everywhere I fished I saw lots of Quill Gordons hatching as well as Blue Quills later in the day and some stoneflies sporadically throughout the day. I started out with a parachute adams and never had any reason to change flies. I've been waiting for dry fly action like this for months so it was an awesome day for sure!

David...i made it out friday afternoon and found quill gordons on almost every dry rock exposed to sunlight. I even saw several fish working the surface.
I managed to trick this guy from behind a big tree using a long, soft, upstream cast with a quill gordon wet fly (thanks grouseman).....then proceeded to take a terrible picture of him.
