I was hoping to be trout fishing this past weekend but my AC going out at the house kept me close to home. I was rewarded with a large redeye bass that measured 17".

that's a monster!!!! caught some bigguns but not that big, 13" max. thats a smallmouths nightmare.

Deceiver with a bow and arrow cast. I was stalking fish from the bank of an island and saw this guy facing away from the bank under a heavy canopy. The only option was the bow and arrow. The fly landed just up and across from the fish. As I twitched, no room to strip, the fly in front of him he turned and followed. Just as I was running out of room, he opened his mouth and inhaled it. By far the biggest redeye I have hooked. It sure was pretty.
