Hope you have a good time and tight lines. I'm leaving out of here at daylight in the morning headed that way for a week. Fish better be biting.

well fishing was poor at best, only got a few small ones. fish were coming up and smacking a the fly but not taking ? downsized it still no takers lots of little brown stones dipping the water but only a few risers to them ? tried every nymph in my box deep and not so deep, tried emerger patterns fished just below the surface ? local guy I met said water was still pretty high. But I thought it was very fishable although colder than I expected. didn't have a thermometer but suspect upper 40's maybe 50. However the weather was great and good time spent with a great friend, good food and good conversation was shared. Never a bad time out in the woods.

MBB
fished from c/s 65 up to just past second bridge above it. Water looked great and fish were there, I purposely waded right up the middle of a couple of runs after fishing them, spooked fished were taking off. water was very clear with lots of bright sunshine that didn't help any.

Looks like you still had a good time.

I had a similar experience Saturday as far as the bows just smacking the dry but not really taking it. Maybe it's the colder temps from the past few days.
