Being a native Tennessean, I had to respond to one thing in the fishing report today. I hope Byron will forgive me for butting in. The "Volunteer State" name actually orignated during the War of 1812 and was tied to the Battle of New Orleans and the number of brave Volunteers fighting with General Andrew Jackson. Of course, that tradition has carried forward with Davy Crockett and others who were so willing to put aside their own lives and desires for the sake of their country and others.
It continues even today - thank you vetran heros and current heros.
I don't live just to fish, but I want to fish just as long as I live.
