Default toccoa river

Three of us floated the lower section above Mccaysville on Saturday. Not much in the way of insects but did see some caddis and some hendricksons. Midge pupa and pt's seemed to work okay. Not many fish, but the quality is better than some other rivers around. All rainbows except for the last two taken on a bugger, a couple of chunky browns. A nice day to be out for sure. Not a big crowd, but did see some outfitters dropping off some kayakers.

Oh yea, its nice to see Hwy. 64 open through the gorge
again.
