Hey guys, i didn't know to post this in fly tying or here. sorry if I'm wrong.
But, i will be heading on my annual summer trip to GSMNP , and I'm gonna need to refresh the ol' trout box.

It would be great if you guys could give me your favorite flies for late june- early july.

Yellow Stimulator size 14, EHC tan, brown, yellow, Size 14. BH Prince size 14 that's about it, no need to complicate things in my opinion.

The only thing I would add would be some BHPT numphs. Even though I try different stuff, most of my fishing ends up being with an Adams (or a "yellow Adams") with a BHPT as a dropper. That's my go-to combination. I'll try different stuff but the Adams with the BHPT dropper is the "it" combination for me.

I think a lot of it is what you have confidence in using.

Don't forget to pick up some green weenies. They should bring alot of fish to hand in late June and July.

A bushy wulff fly...royal or Tennessee....works great and I will usually have a couple of lime trudes....can't tell you the number of times I have spent an entire week up there throwing nothing but a yellow or tan EHC

Another essential in my book is the Tellico nymph...

Really, not much is gonna outperform the green weenie in the summer months... take a handful of those (beadhead and regular) and some tasty lookin' dries and you'll have everything you need.

Personally, all I fish in the Park is a size 4 woolie booger
