I think those are the perfect sized tarpon. There are plenty of them, they like to eat, and you can boat more than a couple of them and still be able to cast and fish the rest of the day. I'm jealous.

Carolina-
Very nice "baby" tarpon as they say. I love to catch "Babies", they put up a heck of a fight. Love it when they do that "tail walk" across the water, and then crash back into the water. I've caught some nice tarpon in Roatan, Utila, and Grand Cayman also. |

Sweet I had a ball with em, they are certainly strong for their size. Really a good time down there, I was actually talking to a chick today about Utila I think, is that the island off honduras?

Yes, Utila is an island not far from Roatan and mainland Honduras. If you go, fish the marinas for the tarpon. Utila is primarily a scuba diving destination, but there are decent restaurants, and fishing opportunities. Also, there is bonefish in Utila, Roatan, and Guanaha (spelling?). |
