Is it possible for me to get more picture room?

I love to post on your site, and I have already eliminated all pictures that aren't necessary, but wondered if you could maybe give me or maybe senior members more picture space? I don't want to delete relevent pictures that others may search for in the future.

Being that this is a somewhat slow forum where people aren't posting every couple seconds, make your post, and whenever the wait time is over between posts, post again, except say "Reserved for more pictures" or whatever. Do that 2 or 3 times if you have a lot of pictures, it'll take about 10-15 minutes of wait time however.

I increased the number of photos per post from 8 to 12. Hope that helps. And James...you aren't limited on the number you can have on the site.

Sorry maybe my original post wasn't clear. Where I am maxed out in pictures is where you host them in my Albums. I think I'm limited to 50 pictures. I've deleted unimportant ones, but don't wan't to erase pertinant ones that users will search for old posts. For instance when I went to the headwaters of Deep Creek, I searched relevant posts and learned alot before I even went. Some pics show exit points that are hard to find, or barriers where the fishing dies because o the Anakeesta formation and will prove valuble to the community. I was hoping you could boost it for senior members. I know it takes up some space on a hard drive somewhere, but with today's increased storage capacity and the fact that resolution is already reduced.

huh, they disabled the quick link to albums but the usercp access to albums is still there, nice...

You can get a free account at Photobucket.com and upload up to 500MB for pictures. Right now I have about 170 pictures uploaded and am only using 6% of my allowable space.

You can create public albums and then embed the link to that album in your signature line. That way you can store a lot more pictures and everyone can link to them from any of your posts.

Great point made by PeteCz. I use Flicker which also offers a certain amount of free uploads.

When I post pictures to the LR board or any other board I try to make sure that the picture is of good quality and interesting.
