Am planning trip to Key West in Nov.Need some thoughts on wade fishing.Have all req equipment. Will buy flats boots or take old stream boots.Bout worn out anyway.Might as well drown 'em in saltwater!Don't really need a guide ,but might rent a boat.

Unfortunately, the wading opportunities around Key West are fairly limited. Most of the truly productive flats are a short boat ride away from the ramp, particularly if you want to target bones or permit. There are some wadable spots surrounding Key West if you just want to get in the water, cast and possibly get into some barracudas or jacks.

The fishing in November can be fantastic, particularly if the winter-time cold fronts haven't started pushing through or if it has been a while since one came through. The crowds are also typically light both on the water and in town.
