Water was up from the nights rain and this was my best trip yet, seemed as though every other cast (flip....) produced a strike. Second trip out using the weenie for a dropper and I'm sold on them! As for the bows on the stringer, I try for a limit when in "speck" waters, figure it helps the specks if only a little.

Lesson learned..... During the hot months, get your butt in the mountains if it rains!

Glad to see someone is killing some of the rainbows up there. Ten years or so ago, I used to catch probably 95 percent brookies in the upper reaches of Walker Camp Prong. Unfortunately in the last few years, that number seems to have changed significantly. I don't eat fish but everytime I catch a bow up there, I'm tempted to whack it on the head...
