Default New to Board

Hi all found this a while back but haven't posted until recently. Not new to flyfishing, started 16 years ago in the famous Kamloops lakes area of British Columbia. That place is amazing! Not many flyfishers around here.Been in a rut for a while of just being a tackle collector. Really inspired by Harry Middleton's books.I realized I don't have to have an 1800 cane rod to catch fish.Fine rods are great, but the right fly and presentation are more important.Looking forward to fishing GSMNP soon!

Welcome! I lived in Louisville and Washington County from 1974-1982. Kentucky had fast horses and pretty women. Or was it the other way around? Oh, yes, for you non-Kentuckians, the grass is really blue!
