Hello,
I really enjoy this board. It has info about all the areas that I am interested in fishing right now. Cumberland River, Caney Fork and Smoky Mountains. I am new to trout fishing/rivers but have done alot of warmwarm fishing on ponds, lakes and strip pits. I have a guide trip set up with Ivan ? in October and I really enjoy "arm chair" fishing the post about the Smokies. I can't wait to visit LRO! I want to see the "Fred" maps and "Jims" book. I even found a thread about a "stocked stream" near my home here in Ky that I fish. Headed to the Caney tommorrow for some fishin. Later, CC in Ky |

Crappiecrazy--A hearty welcome, and if you enjoy catching slabs in still water you are going to find trout in freestone streams pure Heaven.

Welcome to the club! One of the best "shore lunches" I have had was crappie caught in January and baked in coals along Sewee Creek in Meigs County. BTW, you can catch crappie on flies.
