September One Fish Per Month Challenge

Just thought that I would help out a bit...

Headed up to Greenbrier yesterday morning and thankfully beat most everyone. There were two vehicles in the parking lot. Different story later in the day. The area was as crowded as I have ever seen it.

Fishing was a little slow and I may have been behind someone. Changed up flies a bunch. Caught more rainbows than specs. These are a couple of the better pictures.

I scared a good brown shortly after this photo. I was fishing upstream, casting into riffles created by fallen trees. Suddenly I see this big dark shadow dart across the river out of some tree branches about 8 feet in front of me, searching for a new hiding spot. It then took off downstream past me. Easily 24" plus.
