I'm re glassing the chines of my hyde, to add extra protection I had thought about adding a coat of bed liner to the bottom and up the sides about six inches. Anyone have any insight on this?

Rod, I'm no boat man, but what about the UHMW some of the jet sleds are going to. I know it is supposed to be a lot slicker on rocks as far as sliding over them and adds protection. Only been in one drift boat before, but have read a lot of threads on them, my main concern would be how much "drag" any exposed edges/seams/material would create. The UHMW might be the way to go if installed properly.
