Default The important stuff

Before heading to the fisheries meeting yesterday, I slipped into the park and fished for a couple hours. Since I was limited on time, I just fished roadside. Here's where I hopped in.

I mainly fished the longer slower pools that had gathered some sunlight. For the first hour I had one strike and caught one fish.

As it got closer to 6, I had to leave at 6:15, I knew I needed to quit moving so much and start fishing some of the faster runs.

Well, I found the fish, they were activelly feeding in the faster water.

I tried one of the tips Travis posted about getting good pictures and took the last one at an angle. It really helps show the colors of the fish better. The first fish was just as colorful, but the light mutes it out.

In the last 15 minutes of fishing, I caught 4 total, and had 2 LDR's. Three were rainbows, and 1 was a brown.

Yep, life is good.

Nice report, Buzz. Nice fish colors too, even in the last photo...

Thanks for sharing.

I'm a big fan of those golden trout. Not a lot of fight in them though....

Nice report. I have to work part of the weekend, but I definitely plan to get out there as soon as I can. Probably Sunday. Hope they're still primed and ready, 'cause I know I am.

Hey Guys,

What's the secret to posting pictures here on the forum? I have shots of some nice specks I caught last fall, but can't figure out how to post them like buzz posted these very nice pics!
