Default How long...

does it typically take to drive from Elkmont to Treemont, Elkmont to Cades Cove, and Elkmont to Abrams Creek?

I'm trying to plan a trip with some buddies not all of who are wanting to fish as often as I am and I'm trying to pick a good central-ish location.

Thanks in advance for the help.

These are rough quesses. I've never really timed it. I also drive like someone twice my age.

Elkmont to Treymont, 15-20 minutes
Elkmont to Cades Cove, 25-30 minutes
Elkmont to Abrams Creek, Good luck!!! 35 minutes to 2 hours. It could also take you another 2 hours just to get out.

That is about what I figured. Thanks for the help. I think I would prefer to fish Abrams, but there are are more hiking options with staying at either Cades or Elkmont.

This is only about my 4th Smoky's trip, and I'm still new to all the logistics and driving times that are involved.

Any advice is much appreciated.
