Since it has been warming up a bit I been brushing Hazel most afternoons and saving some of the hair. I know tying with dog hair is nothing new but since they have this here depression on I figured I'd give it go.
Not my "tightest" Adams but I'm more interested in what you think about the tail? Will this dog hunt? ![]() My little source. ![]()

Looks pretty good to me! I've only used dog hair for the posts on my adams.

I tie a nymph with hair from my son's black lab; fly is called Beadhead Hogan. I tied a sort of pheasant tail using thick brown button thread. Caught fish in the park with it! Got some white hair to tie a Beadhead Lucky.

Ms. Annie is a shedding machine! I can get enough black hair off of her in one session with a defurminator comb to last for a long time! She doesn't particularily care for the grooming though. As soon as I finish she goes and finds something stinky to roll in!!!
