Walter Babb's bamboo rods?

Just been curious about some of Walter Babb's flyrods. I know he doesn't have a website or e-mail address and I seem to remember him telling me that he doesn't have a cell phone either. Anyone ever fish one or cast one? If so, how would you describe the taper? Been thinking of driving up to his shop to check one out.

Best I can tell Walter can do any taper you desire... He models most of them off of Payne I think. I have one and it's incredible and fishes like a dream. I would highly recommend acquiring one.

Walters rods are great. I'm a grafite man but if I owned one it would be from Walter. When I cast his rods they are very responsive. I always feel like bamboo will break in my hands, Not Walters. They seem a little faster to me from the ones i have cast before.
