Default Historic Photos of the park

I was recently at a teachers workshop about using the Library of Congress website, and our searches we came across this photo collection. I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but I thought that I would link the collection so that others could see it. Very good collection of photos of various parts of the park in the early 1900's while it was still being logged. The photos that I especially liked were of the old Elkmont community. I have fished past those old buildings numerous times, and enjoyed seeing what they used to look like. Anyway...enjoy all.

Sorry about that guys....see if this link will work. Click on Tennessee to pull up pictures from TN only, the shots from the Smokies are in there.

Those are most interesting. It would be nice if there were some identification of the people in the photos. While hiking up the MP road, my son and I found the body of an old car. No way of identifying it. Thanks for sharing.
