Default NC Side last weekend 9-25

I went out last weekend thinking I was going to hammer 'em after we got some rain and the rivers were up. Confidence overpowered skill last Saturday for sure. With everyone talkin' orange I was prepared with stimulators and never sinks, you name it. Got there early, first one on the water.

Hit some big pools looking for some larger browns and the stimulator got a few hits. Put on an Orange wulff looking fly and lots of hits, and missed a very large fish that followed it down the run. Ran back to the truck and got my 4WT with some underneath stuff and couldn't move him.

Took all day to finally get some lovin and caught a couple of nice small browns on a Thunderhead. Didn't hook up a lot but got what I was actually looking for, solitude and some relaxation, so mission accomplished.
