I captured this bluegill on underwater video a couple of weeks ago. It is the first bluegill I have noticed that far up in the tailwaters (weir dam). I have seen several spotted bass, gar, striper, but not bluegill until now
.Here is a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPbEY...ofilepage#t=1s

Awesome video!
Those all looked like very nice TROUT and the bluegill seemed pretty large as well. I would love to fish the Clinch but when I can go the generation schedule seems like the river would be too high to wade. Question Shawn... If I were to go to the weir area just downstream from the dam how soon would it be fish-able AFTER the the generation flow ends and would the fishing be decent? If any of you "Clinchers" would mind me tagging along some weekend give me a ring.... pleeeeeze. Richard 865-255-4840 |
