No comments about the stream being closed and it sounds like they are taking a different tact by shocking and removing instead of straight killin'.
Hope the stream stays open through the process. |

I was there to help with the shocking. It was quite an experience. However, a body with a lot of mileage gets worn down, climbing over big rocks to keep up with the shockers. I haven't heard of anything about Sycamore Creek being closed. It will be tough fishing as a lot of fish were removed. But, the good news is that brookies will be back in the stream in the future.
There were a number of people from various orgainizations there to help. |
