Any suggestions for far Western MD in November

I am heading to WMD in a couple weeks and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a 1/2 day trip?

I am leaning towards the Savage below the dam, but curious if anyone has a thought pro or con. Guess I am thinking with the colder weather that below the dam may be my best bet to get water temps that are reasonable. Of course flows might be a differnt story.

I dont know for sure but I'm told the savage is fishing fine.You might consider the gunpowder its not that far from the savage Dennis

Thanks Dennis but I thought Gunpowder was down by Baltimore?

I will be in the western part of the state, Cumberland area.
