Default French Broad

I might be floating the French broad tomorrow, hoping for carp and/or smallies. Anybody fish it this time of year?

I fished it about 3 weeks ago and it was a pretty slow day. the wind picked up and made it nearly impossible to keep the boat straight. I caught a couple of smallmouth and one stripe bass.
They have been lowering the lake and it has made the water clarity to about a foot. It also has a brownish tint. In years past the fishing on the FB has not been very good in Nov. The holston usually fishes better.
this is one little smallie from my last trip fishing a brown sparkleminnow.
