Default Jeremy Wade Humbled by Fly Fishing

In spite of his many travels and exploits, marine biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade is humbled by fly fishing in the episode below. Once he kinda mastered the method and landed one, he reacted as most of us did the first time.

Animal Planet Channel - River Monsters - Asian Slayer Apr 29, 8:00 pm & Apr 30, 1:00 am
Angler Jeremy Wade returns to the remote rivers of India's Himalayas to investigate a fresh spate of savage attacks. Jeremy thinks he knows the perpetrator's identity, but his plans to catch the monster hit trouble when he learns its a sacred animal.

I taped that show and was pleasantly surprised that he was using a flyrod. It is going to be interesting how he fares on a revisit to India to catch this mystery fish. Keep in mind, he has fished for days to catch one fish that is a monster.

I watched him catch a Taimen on a fly rod last night. I was impressed!
