First time fishing the mountains

I am planning an all day fishing trip to the smokys this saturday. I have never fished the mountains before, and am not sure where I should go. All my rods are broken but my glass 9ft 6wt, so I should more than likely avoid tight streams. Anyone have any suggestions for a successful first time trip? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. Little River above the Elkmont Campground.

Your 6wt. will be fine... I prefer to use 8'9" rods on park streams more than any other length. Enjoy and good luck!

Be careful if you go Danny the little river is up to 1400 cfs right now not wadable. Looks like the mountains got a lot of rain last night.

-Grease up your fly line to limit drags
-Watch your back cast. Us tailwater guys learn hard on the freestone streams.
-Stop by LRO and let Daniel load you up on some good flies.
-I threw parachute adams this week and they worked great.
