Post Info: Mayflies on the Clinch

I thought I would share some of my pictures of mayflies on the Clinch and a few videos as well. I hope you can use it to help guide your pattern selection or to help you visualize the trout's perspective.

Feel free to add your own pictures, ideas, or stories.

My intent is to create a collaboration of mayfly information for others to enjoy.

Excellent shots. I am having trouble with the macro shots or we could compare nymphs from the Caney. Oh well, I'll try it again today.

For close up shots on the water; I set to #1 Macro + timer and hold it really steady. I try to take several as many are usually blurred. For shots of my samples; I use a tripod and the same procedure.

Great shots. Really shows what could trigger a trout's attention to a fly pattern.
