I know it's a little off subject but I'm from Alabama and I have a TN liscence and I'll be in Wear Valley this weekend and between flyfishing and hiking I could try to strike a thunder chicken!! All I need is a place to put my boots to walkin! Any sweet spots anyone is willing to share with a hopelessly addicted turkey hunter coming to town this weekend? Thanks in advancePatrick

If you have a WMA pass, do a map recon and try Cherokee. I recommend any fields within a few miles of the hatchery but keep in mind that a lot of Cherokee is private land.

Byron always talks about turkeys in his yard on the daily "Fishing Report." You might see if he & Paula will give you permission, lol.
