I really don't like to say much about this type of thing on Board like this but here are my two cents worth. Words from the song Beer For My Horses by Toby Keith and Willie Nelson. About time we find a "tall ole tree" for some of these folks.

My wife thinks I'm a redneck hillbilly for carrying a revolver with me everywhere I can legally do so. It's an extra 2lbs to carry on a long hike but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. You never know what you're going to meet out there.
That trail is pretty heavily traveled too. Darn shame. Hope they catch the guy so the lady can at least have some closure on the incident. Really hate to hear stuff like that. Jeff
