Anyone ever fished the Blue River in Colorado? If so any pointers or helpful information would be appreciated

I have not fished it but if you are fishing the section through Silverthorne right below Dillon Res. make sure to have some mysis shrimp patterns. I've fished the Frying Pan and the Taylor and when those fish are on the shrimp they will really feed well. Most of those streams have super technical clear water with long leaders, fine tippet, and small flies (think midges) the name of the game. Take pictures and post a report when you get back! Thinking about all the big fish out in those CO tailwaters makes me wish I was going...
