I'd use an 18 pheasant tail...I find not using standard brass beads really helps..so no bead or an unfinished bead is what I prefer.. its also bwo time. Size 20 Barr's emerger is the best I have found...I'd take some size 20 parachute bwo s as well...could still see some sulphers as well... the fishing should be great.

Today, An #18 bwo parachute would get a rise out of any fish you saw rise and even a few that were laying were they should be.

Just got back after floating the river for four days. Fishing was good, the scenery even better. Caught good numbers and some were good size. Missed the hookset on a real hog. All except three fish were taken on different sulphur dry patterns, a few on bwo's. Others ate a sow bug.

Well I'm back from my weekend trip. The water was pushing all weekend so I ended up with a great guide. Stuck fish all day on all different kinds of flies and setups. Dry fly fishing to steelhead rigs. It all worked well! What a great river.
