Was able to wet a line at lunch time yesterday and ended up with this!
![]() I was able to go only at about 10 minutes to high tide and I did not have high hopes. Where I started I saw about 3, but just briefly. It was windy and overcast so I coundn't even track the fish. I ended up walking way around to another part of the flat that was somewhat sheltered by trees, and that fish was tailing when I got there. Like my old Battalion Commander used to say, "It is better to be lucky than good". ![]() This fish was a nice 30 inch red with amazing copper colors. Took me to my backing on the first run. |

Wish I could have lunches like that. Very nice. Do they start getting darker this time of year.

Color shows up better in the video. I noticed the depth of the water you were in is it pretty consistant through out the flat you were on or is there deeper water nearby. Again great video.
