Went back to Sam's Creek Today. It was a good day to be out. The fishing seemed slower, but I guess after last Sat, anything was bound to be slower.
Here's some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() I then fished a little on upper Tremont, but after a while I realized that I had been fishing been behind another fisherman... ![]() I watched him hop from rock to rock slowly and stealthily, which was very entertaining ![]() ![]() |

Nice shots of Mr. O, I worked behind him on the upper in August, no camera at the ready so I appreciate these shots. Maybe someone with bird knowledge can answer this question. Do they migrate in winter or stay in our area, I have shared some spots on the Clinch with them this summer, but have not seen them in the last couple weekends. Thanks for the post!

The Blue Heron does migrate. You'll see them occasionally into October but they're usually gone here in VA/ NC by now.
