Bear creek?

Has bear creek been opened? It's not on the parks list of closed streams. Only Lynn camp is listed as off limits.

Well doggone. I was at park headquarters yesterday (Friday) on an unrelated matter. I could have check with the fishery biologists had I known it might be open. If no one else learns the answer in the interim, I will give them a call Monday.

I heard rumors from fishery students that it would be open soon. I then asked Matt about it and he said they were planning on going back one more time but it would probably be opening soon. That was a year ago.

It says it's open on the park service map and the fisheries page so go for it

Hope it fishes better than Mannis Branch
