Default holston saturday 3-23

took the canoe and the brother in law to the holston yesterday. don't know the water temp, but the color was about average for the holston, maybe a pinch darker. it was a spot i had been to a couple of times before and had moderate success, but it was pretty darn good yesterday. we fished from about 12:30 til 4:15. it was a little slow at first, a bite here and there but around three it really picked up. i managed to land 9 rainbows all 10-12" and missed many more. my tippet got broke off a couple of times as well. it didn't seem to matter what color midge i threw as long as it had a silver bead. they were all eaten, some more than others.

Good deal Punk... I like to fish the Holston too. Funny how some are Clinch guys, others up to the Mountains and the Holston gets seemingly ignored.

This may be a good thing.
