Just curious Four X; where IS the lower Clinch. At the Jail?

Sounds like you had an awesome day.

Yep.
About 4 yrs. ago I had a banner spring/summer with large numbers of large fish at the jail.
In the subsequent yrs. they seem to have been far and few between.
I was honestly thinking that the stripers had taken their toll down there.
Got down there for the first time this yr. yesterday and the big fish were back in quantities.
Maybe the huge amount of discharge this winter pushed these fish farther towards the reservoir? I don't know.
No more weir pool conga line!
I do know this: If you can't fish highly technical water, then you are wasting your time down there. Proper line control/drift are the only way you'll catch fish!

I doubt it; that area is still very technical as fourx said. Many will fish it once and not return for a long time. It still gives me fits at times.

It wasn't any good today.
So, I probably misrepresented the fishing down low.
So, don't go down there, it sucks.
