Default New Waters?

Just saw this in the Knoxville News on line edition, looks like new waters in the future. Does anybody know this area or have further info. Looking at location does this put it near the state hatchery also.

bigsur, although on privately owned land up until recently, Rocky Fork Creek has been a publicly accessible trout fishery for quite a while. I fished it a few times about 15 years ago. You will recall Damon Hearne, Trout Unlimited Southeast Conservation Coordinator, speaking about the stream's history at the May Little River Chapter TU meeting as it is now one of TU’s southeastern brook trout restoration projects.

The hatchery in Unicoi is a federal egg producing facility. It wouldn't be involved regardless.

Your right, II remember his talk but did not put together that this was the one and same location, thanks for your clarification.

P.S. Saw your pics in the other post looked like a great day on the water.

Looks like a sweet piece of water that may be worth the drive

Hopefully you just had a brain fart and it wasn't Part-Timers kicking in
