Default Aug/Sept Southern Trout Mag out in two days

The Aug/Sept issue of Southern Trout Magazine will be out in two days. It's our biggest issue ever. Along with a couple of Tenkara pieces, there is an article about Fred Turner and his maps, plus some great fly info on patterns and hex's.

We continue to tweak this project until it is as good as we can get it. For each issue we have also added a featured fly tyer (this issue is Joel Dean of Tennessee Traditional Flie) and featured rod builder (this issue is Cherry Log Rods, GA). Matt Green has a great piece on hex mayflies everyone will learn from reading. The cover on the issue is an Adam's Variant water color by Cindy Day of Knoxville. It is pretty stunning.

This is the 8th issue, and as always, getting it is free. Beginning soon we will be giving away some pretty ****ed good gear on a monthly basis to our subscribers. Be sure to take a look at us at www.southerntrout.com

Mucho thanks to the Daniel and Begley's for allowing me to shamelessly promote Southern Trout. "

Thumbs up

Very nicely done, Don.

Mrs. Maps (Dianne), our daughter Heather, son David and his boys, Rusty and Sam, and my fishing mentor brother Al of North Georgia were pleased as well.

Many thanks.

Default Oops.

Don, you did a great job on "The Map Man" article. Thanks again. I just now noticed that I provided you an incorrect bit of data. Near the end of page 107, instead of the year 1979, I should have told you 1997. Looks like I am one of the ten out of two people who have numerical dyslexia. I can't blame the mixup on drinking as I'm seldom ever seen walking into a bra.

You sound like such a boob talking like that

My guess is you type with primarily 2 fingers like me

Bran thanks for the download to phone idea

Don the little I have read so far has been excellent. I especially like the article on NC streams and rights of property owners and individuals. It's amazing how TN and NC have pretty liberal interpretations compared to say VA where "Kings Grant" still seems to rule

Don I also love the price.
