Default Favorite Winter Smokies flies?

Just wondering what everyone's favorite winter Smokies flies were and how you liked to fish them? I have done a little winter fishing with limited success and hoping to do a little more this year and was wondering what most of your go-to setups were? Small, dark nymphs? Heavily-weighted big stoneflies dredging bottom? A few tiny BWO's for the occasional break from nymphing madness? Curious to see what all of our esteemed experts have to say :0 !!
Thanks,
Jed

I usually fish two nymphs at a time with the one with the most weight as my point fly.
1. Tellicos size 6-14
2. Pheasant tails 12-16
3. princes 8-14
4. Tennessee twenty incher 6-14
5. Haresear 10-16

Add a big black stonefly and if i couldn't catch em with those, I'b be back in the truck with the heater on BTW, what's the difference in a TN 20" and the traditional 20" nymph pattern.

I think I asked that same question last time it was mentioned, don't think I got an answer...

Not a whole lot of difference except there's no come head. It also has barred rubber legs and tied with yellow thread. There's also gray biots tied prince style.

Talking

Thanks, for taking the time to post that No Hackle. That's a good looking fly, I love me some rubber legs I've even started using them for tails on some patterns. That would make a great giant black stone imitation.
