Default Sorry so slow this year with the redfish posts

I haven't posted in a while, been really busy, but the high tide fishing has been great in Beaufort, SC. I have been catching fish on crab patterns, with a few on shrimpy patterns as well. Last Saturday I fished with my friend Bryan and we caught 3 total. I caught one about 24", and broke one off, he caught one about 24" and landed a monster redfish that was 36".

One of the biggest redfish I have seen tailing on a high tide flat. I will try and get the picture and get it on here.

I completely understand that. I've been too busy to post, or even read this forum much, myself. Looking forwards to some pictures.

I will try and post some more photos from this year when I finally get them uploaded to photobucket. Check out my wife's big brown in the TN section!

Hi John,

I like that stripping mat on your boat (and your boat). I've never seen a mat like that.

Nice Redfish too. It's huge!

Byron,
I actually made the mat myself, and the boat belongs to my Friend Bryan. It is an Ankona, and a really easy boat to pole, particularly for folks like me who haven't done too much of it.
