Default should 3/11 thru 3/16 be good for fishing?

Planning on a trip over from tejas for a week, just me. Should the fly fishing be decent by then? What sort of flies should I buy at LRO when I get there?

Best suggestion I can give you is to read today's fishing report from Byron. Would think you'd certainly have some good days in that period, also likely some not so good.

I would think the Quill Gordons would be active, maybe peaking? They've started a bit, and should last at least a couple of weeks.

Others who get to fish there more than I do may give you some better info.

Don't like your answer shake again

Could be snowing with lousy fishing or could be awesome. And predicting it more than 72 hours out seems to be impossible.

If you don't do well, you can always blame the weather

I would second reading Byron's fly fishing report, a lot of good information.
