Default Mountain blooming?

So I am long overdue for a trip to the Smokies. Planning on spring trip and wife want to see the mount. laural and rhodies blumming.......so what would be the best timing for this based on your experience? Thanks in advance for the info....

If my memory serves me correctly the mountain laurels bloom in late April into May and the rhododendron is more like June. If you're of the more adventurous sort, the flame azaleas on top of some of the balds are in July.
