I too have noticed more algae where I've fished there. I will say the fish are in fine shape from what I saw. We spent four straight days on the river two weeks ago and had a few cloudy days , including the day it came the hailstorm. This period seemed to stimulate the sulphurs better than the nice sunny days, at least over the course of the day. One evening scince then, I witnessed a huge hatch after 7:00...too many bugs on the water.Hope to get the skiff on the river before the sulphurs get gone.

Was on the lake quite a bit this weekend, and was surprised at how far it was from summer pool. Seems like memorial day weekends in the past, it has been within a few feet of summer levels.

May explain the low river flows....although justification is debatable.
