Default Report 6-6-14

I went today from about 11L30-3:30. Terrible time to go fishing.

First I saw a white hen turkey at Metcalf:

Then I caught about 12 fish. All were browns. Most were in the 7-10 inch range, but I caught these two that were bigger:

Wink awesome

You've been a member for 4 years and only have 12 posts! Three of which are on this thread!

Nice report. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to listen to the fishing reports. Some of my best fish have come when I was told better fishing was at a different time, or using a different tactic. Looks like you found what works.

Feel free to jump in more often. Even when you don't have bad days like today.

Nice report! Thanks for posting.

That was a huge Brown trout, did you tape it? If so how big was it?

Why do you think 11-330 is a bad time to fish? When I fish, I'm usually out those hours. While you get some hatches late in the evening that seem to make things significant better, it is often while the light is fading and seeing your fly becomes quite a challenge Also early morning was good on Snowbird for an hour or two, but for that short window, I usually have more luck between 11-7. YMMV

Keep up the posts, it nice to see new people posting and putting some life in this board
