hello i will be fishing sat.18,@west prong LR around campsite 18 any help would be greatly appriciated thanks.

CDU1961, Welcome to the board and site. My wife and I have spent a lot of nights at campsite 18. I prefer the hike from Bote Mountain Trail but getting there from Tremont is a nice hike too. I like the fishing downstream from the campsite better. I've never caught any large trout there but there are a lot of small rainbows.

I did the hike in from Tremont "ONCE" with tent and gear, enough said! I had problems with the trail after getting in a ways. Beautiful place though, great fishing even if small.
