Hello Bamafly,
That's a nice looking little camper As I continue to get older, I may have to consider getting something like that, and give up tent camping except when I go into more remote areas. I am getting anxious to head to the smokies myself, plan on heading that way on April 28th. I have a couple of new fly rods that I am building that I wanna try out in the Park. Catch a few for me till I get there ![]() Neal |

I am thinking about buying a pop up camper; getting a little old for the tent camping. Did you consider a pop up? I would be interested in any research you've done.

hey Chris,
I have looked at pop-ups. There are several reasons to get both I guess. It may just be personal preference. I bought a lightweight fiberglass camper that will last me 30 years. Scamp has been making these same campers forever. You still see 1970' Scamps & 1980's Scamps all the time and when folks sell them they are still bringing in a great value. |

hey Neal,
I think we are headed up the GSMNP on the weekend of the 28th. We are out of school on the 28th so I think we are headed up on the 27th after school lets out. I think we may stay in elkmont. |
